Winery Description:

Bodegas Torralbenc in Menorca is a remarkable project born from the challenge of reviving a traditional Menorcan estate that had been abandoned for decades. The 19th and 20th-century agricultural properties originally never cultivated vines due to the land’s harsh, chalky soil and limited resources. Through years of dedication, the estate has been transformed, with 14 hectares now flourishing as vineyards surrounding the winery. In 2016, Torralbenc proudly produced its first wine-a vintage that captures the unique essence of Menorca’s rock, earth, and light, showcasing the full potential of its grapes. This restoration not only brought life back to the land but also preserved the estate’s heritage and natural environment, integrating traditional Menorcan architecture with sustainable practices. Today, Torralbenc is both a winery and a luxury agritourism destination, offering visitors an authentic experience steeped in the island’s culture, history, and breathtaking Mediterranean.
