Nestled in the enchanting Val di Noto, between the baroque cities of Noto and Modica, and the picturesque seaside villages of Marzamemi and Portopalo di Capo Passero, lies the historic Buonivini estate. This region, renowned for its rich winemaking heritage, is where the Planeta family embarked on their third journey to celebrate and elevate Sicilian viticulture. The name "Buonivini," meaning "good wines," reflects the area's deep-rooted tradition in winemaking. At Buonivini, the focus is on Nero d'Avola, Sicily's flagship red grape, which flourishes in the estate's unique terroir. The estate spans 41 hectares of gently rolling hills adorned with meticulously planned vineyards, young almond groves, and majestic carob trees. This harmonious landscape offers a glimpse into the past and present of Sicilian winemaking.
