Founded in 1778, the winery is now led by Urban Petrič, the eighth generation of the family, who honors traditional methods while embracing sustainable and organic viticulture. The vineyards, spanning about eight hectares on southern slopes with diverse soils including limestone and marl, thrive under the influence of the Mediterranean climate tempered by the strong Burja winds. This unique environment produces mineral-rich grapes that form the basis of a varied portfolio, featuring indigenous varieties such as Zelen and Pinela alongside international grapes.
