We’ll drive through the Adelaide Hills to Gumeracha, home of the World’s largest rocking horse. Admire it from below or climb to the top for just $2. Animal lovers can also meet and feed kangaroos and wallabies in the wildlife park. It’s also a great spot for coffee or a snack. Next, we visit the Barossa Reservoir to experience the famous acoustic “Whispering Wall,” before heading into the beautiful Barossa Valley. Our first winery is Kies Family Wines, a passionate family-owned estate producing award-winning wines and running 95% off grid. Then, at Lambert Estate, enjoy a hosted tasting followed by a delicious shared pizza lunch. We’ll take in the panoramic views from Menglers Hill Lookout before descending into the valley. In Tanunda, you’ll have 45 minutes of free time—choose a tasting at Z Wines, sample local craft beers at Rein Bier Brewhouse (own cost), or explore the shops and cafés. Finally, we board the bus and return to Adelaide.
