The Visit+Tasting experience is suitable for all those who wish to get to know the reality of Castello di Ama, one of the main wineries in Italy. Before the tasting moment, guests are accompanied on a guided tour of the estate through the production areas, the aging cellar and the historic cellars of the medieval village of Ama.
Along the entire route, the presence of the genius loci will be constant, materialized and made tangible by the site-specific installations that make up our Contemporary Art Collection.
Our point of view and the wines for tasting change every year: the experience is recommended also to those who have already visited us in the past.
For our 2026 proposal, we invite you to discover the territory of Castello di Ama, in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, through an experience focused on the three Chianti Classico wines that define our estate. The journey is conceived as a succession of three concentric circles that reveal, with increasing clarity, our production philosophy:
– Immediacy: we begin with the spontaneous pleasantness of AMA Chianti Classico 2023, a vibrant introduction to our style.
– Balance: we continue with the harmony of MONTEBUONI Chianti Classico Riserva 2021, an elegant expression of our vineyards at 500 meters above sea level.
– Identity: finally, we reach the heart of the estate with CASTELLO DI AMA SAN LORENZO Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2020, our most iconic and majestic wine.
