Begin your guided visit at the historical Badia di Morrona, an 11th-century abbey nestled amidst the stunning Tuscan countryside. Explore its cloisters, admire the ancient stonework and imagine the lives of the monks who once resided within these hallowed walls. Next, head to the winery owned by the abbey's owner. Be guided through the various areas, from the red and white wine production area, through the barrel room and into the aging room with cement tanks. Conclude your tour with a great tasting of 5 regional wines, with at least a Chianti wine included, accompanied by a selection of local products (like cured meat and cheese) and a traditional Tuscan first course, such as fresh pasta.
