Adega do Vulcão is a truly unique winery: the only one on Faial Island, and owner of nine hectares of 60–90-year-old vineyards on Pico, where vines grow directly out of volcanic lava stone. Guided by a deep respect for nature and local heritage, Adega do Vulcão works with native grape varieties and sustainable practices, crafting small-batch wines that express the raw power and elegance of volcanic terroir. Each bottle tells a story of resilience, authenticity, and harmony between land and sea.
