Antonin Rodet, founded in 1875 by Antoine Rodet in Mercurey, Burgundy, is a historic wine house deeply rooted in the Côte Chalonnaise terroir. Antoine, inspired by his marriage into a local farming family, invested boldly in vineyards despite the phylloxera crisis, believing in the revival of this renowned region. His son Antonin expanded the business internationally, pioneering innovative marketing in the 1920s and enhancing the brand’s reputation without compromising quality. Today, the estate centers around the elegant 17th-century Clos Antonin Rodet mansion, surrounded by lush gardens and historic greenhouses. The house remains a symbol of Southern Burgundy’s heritage, combining tradition with modern, environmentally respectful viticulture.
