Nestled in the heart of Valtellina, Tenuta La Gatta is a historic estate that seamlessly blends centuries of tradition with the art of winemaking. Established in the 1500s as a Dominican monastery, it later became the residence of the noble De Gatti family, lending the estate its name. In 1969, the Triacca family acquired La Gatta, embarking on a journey to restore and elevate this heritage site into a premier destination for wine enthusiasts. Spanning 13 hectares at elevations between 300 and 500 meters above sea level, La Gatta's vineyards are a testament to "heroic viticulture." The estate predominantly grows Nebbiolo, with smaller plots of Pignola, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pink Muscat.
