Winery Description:

Quinta da Pedra Alta is a distinguished winery nestled in the heart of Portugal’s Douro Valley, in the scenic Cima Corgo sub-region near Alijó. With vineyards spanning 35 hectares at altitudes from 230m to 550m, it boasts a rich heritage dating back to the 18th century and a diverse range of indigenous grape varieties. 

The estate combines traditional granite lagares winemaking with modern sustainable practices, producing elegant whites, robust reds, and exquisite Ports that capture the essence of the Douro’s unique terroir. 

Under the expert guidance of winemaker João Pires, Quinta da Pedra Alta offers wines celebrated for their balance, complexity, and sense of place, making it a must-visit destination for wine lovers seeking authenticity and quality in one of the world’s most beautiful wine regions.
