Founded in 1984, the estate spans 60 hectares of certified organic vineyards, with a core focus on Sangiovese and the celebrated Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Salcheto’s cellar is fully energy-independent, utilizing solar and biomass systems, and is designed for maximum environmental efficiency. The winery leads the industry in transparency, being the first globally to certify and communicate the carbon footprint of each bottle. All wines are crafted with natural yeasts, no added sulfites, and bottled in ultra-light, eco-friendly glass.
