Our philosophy? “Perfection Without Pretension.” Here, wine is seen as a spice—meant to enhance, not to be idolized. It’s an experience for your senses, unpretentious and deeply individual. Inspired by his assignment as a “wine spy” from Bordeaux in 1980, founder Jean-Noel Fourmeaux fell in love with Napa Valley’s generosity and freedom, sending back a telegram that said simply: “Looks good, I stay.” Since then, he’s woven the spirit of California into his French heritage, crafting wines full of nuance and subtlety, rather than opulence.
