The region’s special microclimate provides perfect conditions for Botrytis cinerea, the noble rot crucial for crafting luxurious sweet wines.
Founded by the visionary Alois Kracher, the winery gained international acclaim for its focused production of Trockenbeerenauslesen wines, often considered some of the finest botrytized wines globally.
Today, Alois’ legacy is maintained by Gerhard Kracher and Yvonne, who continue to produce outstanding examples of Trockenbeerenauslesen, as well as Beerenauslesen, Auslesen, and Eiswein. The estate also offers select dry white and red wines, broadening its appeal while maintaining impeccable quality.
