In the heart of Trieste, a city shaped by the meeting of cultures and sea winds, you are invited to embark on a tasting journey that brings together wine, food, and centuries of tradition.
The tasting is structured to offer a broad palette of flavors. You will start with two extra-virgin olive oils, each with its own character, aromas, and stories of local cultivation. Next, a sparkling wine introduces you to the celebratory character of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that has given birth to the Prosecco tradition.
From there, you move to a white wine and a red wine, both carefully chosen to showcase native grapes and regional expressions, before ending with a liqueur crafted from local herbs and roots. Each drink is thoughtfully paired with three gourmet bites, such as artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and delicacies from the Triestine Karst mountain area. This is a journey into the history of viticulture in Friuli Venezia Giulia, one of Italy’s most productive and diverse wine regions.
