This tasting experience offers a deeper understanding of our production philosophy!
- You will taste five of our wines, each paired with savory biscuits from the renowned Italian pastry house Flamigni, carefully selected to highlight and enhance the unique character of each wine.
- Our winery has been certified organic since 1994, a testament to our long-standing commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental responsibility.
- We are also proud members of the Volcanic Wines network and the FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers.
- The sassotondo story will be described in colors: the white Isolina, the rosè Lady Marmalade and then three different shades of red, the Sassotondo Rosso, the Ombra Blu and the iconic and super award winner San Lorenzo, our ciliegiolo from an old vineyard located just in front of the overwhelming landscape of Pitigliano.

Good to know before you book: The farm is small, our wines are an artisan's product; if you wish to learn more, you can come and visit us; we will show you cellar and vineyars.
You can taste and buy the wines and you can also participate to our short seminaries on the cultivation of the vine and on winemaking. You can find sassotondo in Toscana, in the Grosseto district, about 50 km from Orvieto and 50 km from the tirrenian Coast, close to the beautyful Etruscan towns of Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano.
