Terra Costantino is an organic winery located on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, in Viagrande.

Founded in 1978, it is the first certified organic winery on Etna, with vineyards cultivated between 450 and 550 meters above sea level, where native varieties such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, and Catarratto grow.

The winery, dug underground to exploit the natural thermal stability, follows a minimal-intervention winemaking method, with spontaneous fermentations and manual harvesting, to enhance the freshness, minerality, and complexity typical of Etna wines.

Terra Costantino is more than just wine: it's an authentic experience immersed in history, nature, and tradition.

We invite you to visit the underground cellar, discover the barrel cellar, and walk among the vineyards rooted in Etna's ancient lava.

The tastings, accompanied by traditional bread and local olive oil, will take you on a unique sensory journey into the heart of Sicily.

Winery Description:

We are in the heart of Etna DOC, an appellation that protects the specific products of an area that is deeply different from the rest of Sicily. This is exactly what we wish to represent with our wines, working with precision and foresight in this specific contest. We cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards in Viagrande at Contrada Blandano, between 450 and 500 m.a.s.l This place is filled with history, here wine has been produced since the Roman and Greek age and we still preserve an ancient millstone dated 1700. In 2020 the terraces of Contrada Praino have been added to the historic vineyard, a new plant about 2 hectares in Milo, to produce “Etna Bianco Superiore”.
